Utah Deck Supply

Deck Framing Hardware

Deck framing hardware from Simpson Strong-Tie, MiTek, and FastenMaster: joist hangers, post bases, beam connectors, ledger hardware, straps, ties, and structural screws.

The frame is where deck quality actually starts.

Good decking boards cannot save a bad frame. Utah Deck Supply helps source the boring-but-critical structural hardware behind long-lasting decks: MiTek connectors, Simpson Strong-Tie hangers and brackets, FastenMaster structural screws, ledger hardware, post bases, straps, ties, and code-conscious fastening details.

We are not replacing an engineer or local code official, but we can help builders and homeowners get the correct hardware family, sizing conversation, and material list started before the job stalls.

Pick a project type

Start with joist hangers, post bases, and structural screws.

For the normal deck frame, bring joist size, beam size, post size, and ledger details. That tells us which connectors and screw families should be in the takeoff.

Coatings matter. Fastener compatibility matters.

Pressure-treated lumber, snow, drainage, and Utah freeze-thaw cycles are not kind to cheap hardware. Use connector fasteners approved for the connector, match coatings to the lumber/exposure, and do not substitute drywall/deck screws for structural screws. If that sounds painfully specific, good. This is the part of the deck where being specific saves money.
